Lingnan University was one of the three winning teams in the HSBC Hong Kong Business Case Competition 2014. Two other winners were City University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong.

Nine participating universities from Hong Kong were divided into three groups to compete against each other in business strategy and presentation. The competition was judged by senior business executives with international experience, giving the students exposure to some of Asia’s brightest talent. Grouped with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan eventually beat the other two to become one of the three equal winners.

The winning team members are as follows:

  • Lee Tat-hung (Finance, Year 2)
  • Tam Sai-ming (Accounting, Year 2)
  • Xie Zihan (Accounting, Year 2)
  • Yeung Wai-kei (Marketing, Year 2)
