Blossoming exchange networks
To build on existing ties and lay the foundations for deeper collaboration, representatives from the Office of Global Education (OGE) participated in various international events in the 2016-17 academic year, including the EAIE 2016 Conference in Liverpool, UK, the APAIE 2017 Conference and Exhibition in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and the NAFSA 2017 Annual Conference and Expo in Los Angeles, USA.
A number of visits were paid to both new and existing partners in mainland China, Finland, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia, Taiwan and the UK. The visits successfully deepened our relationships with our current partners and established student exchange agreements with new partners. We deeply appreciated the hospitality of our partner institutions. We also welcomed our existing and potential partners to Lingnan and showed them our close-knit campus environment and the liberal arts traditions that we take pride in.
