Mr Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of the HKSAR and Chancellor of the University, conferred honorary doctorates on three distinguished individuals at the 41st Congregation, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to education and the well-being of the community.
Over 1,000 students, alumni, teachers, staff and friends of the University participated in "Walking with Lingnanians", raising more than $1.7 million in total.
About 14,000 visitors attended the two Information Days on 22-23 October.

LU Sports Team has won the bronze medal in both the women’s basketball and volleyball tournaments of the Jackie Chan Inter-collegiate Challenge Cup 2011.
Twelve Lingnan students came first with the highest marks in the Providence Foundation Outward Bound Training Awards 2010/11.
