Three Lingnan students from the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN) countries including Miss Intan Evelyn Elizabeth (Indonesian, BBA, Year 4), Miss Lim Pui Yan (Malaysian, BBA, Year 3) and Mr Han Paul Lu (Burmese, BSS, Year 1), attended a tea reception organised by the Education Bureau and met with HKSAR Chief Executive Mr CY Leung at the Government House on 25 January.

The tea reception provided an opportunity for ASEAN university students in Hong Kong to exchange and interact with the Chief Executive, government officials, ASEAN Consulate Generals as well as their peers.

Paul said he was delighted to meet the Chief Executive and other students from ASEAN countries, and meeting the Myanmar Consulate General is a good chance to connect with Myanmar community in Hong Kong. Evelyn also said that it was an honour to be invited to the tea reception, and she had a great time meeting and sharing about life in Hong Kong with fellow students from Indonesia as well as other ASEAN countries.
