At the CGCC Business Forum jointly organised by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) and Lingnan University on 8 November 2011, Dr Jonathan Choi Koon-shum, Chairman of the CGCC and Doctor of Social Sciences honoris causa, Lingnan University, was invited to speak on "How to build winning business networks in mainland China".
During the forum, Dr Choi introduced to students CGCC’s hundred years of history and its recent development towards a younger, professional, diversified and international organisation. The Chamber would strengthen the connection of Hong Kong with Mainland China and the rest of the world through bilateral cooperation and exchange activities.
He would also like to enhance students' knowledge about the business sector. Dr Choi is impressed by the vitality, creativity and broad vision of the young generation. He advised students to build on their strengths and learn from predecessors, saying more understanding of the Chinese culture and business environment would definitely be beneficial for their future development.
