About 130 alumni across generations, from the former Lingnan University in Guangzhou, Lingnan College at Stubbs Road to the current Lingnan University, participated in the “Lingnanians’ Night” held on 25 April at the Serenade Chinese Restaurant, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Tsimshatsui.

Dr James Tak Wu, a distinguished alumnus of Lingnan, was invited to share with all participating guests and alumni his “Lingnan stories”, which showed how Lingnan had shaped his life and career, and his deep affection for his alma mater. Another highlight of the event was the musical and singing performances presented by Lingnan students, whose musical talents impressed all guests and attendees. President Leonard K Cheng and senior alumni led the participants to sing some well-known Lingnan songs, bringing a high note to the happy gathering.
