Lingnan University’s Office of Mainland and International Programme held a farewell reception for more than 100 incoming exchange students this semester at the Leung Fong Oi Wan Art Gallery on campus on 25 November.

Representatives of German, Korean, the US and Mainland Chinese exchange students shared their colourful and vibrant life at Lingnan by showing photos taken on different occasions such as International Day, Halloween party, as well as their sightseeing at various scenic spots in Hong Kong. This year, Mr Fuji Cheung Ka-hei, a Year 3 Translation student, was named the Best Buddy for his dedication to help exchange students adapt to life at Lingnan.

About one-seventh of the student population at Lingnan are non-local full-programme or semester-long exchange students. In addition to degree-seeking students from various countries, the number of inbound exchange students this semester has reached a record-high number of 210. In order to provide students with international exposure, the University has entered into agreements for bilateral exchange with over 150 partner institutions around the world.
