On 19 May, Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation awarded scholarships to 47 Lingnan students for their participation in exchange programmes overseas and in mainland China for one semester in the next academic year 2014/15.

At the sharing session, Ms Miranda Chan and Ms Alvita Cheung, Project Manager and Project Officer respectively of Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, encouraged the students to make the best of the exchange opportunities and contribute to the community through social services. Scholarship recipients also shared their expectations for the exchange as well as plans of study and participation in community service.

The Lingnan University Chow Tai Fook Student Exchange Scholarships were established in 2014 with a donation of HK$1 million each year for three consecutive years to support students with outstanding academic performance and active participation in community service to go on exchange for one semester.
