A team of three Lingnan ICAC Ambassadors, Cultural Studies Year-three student Chan Ying-kei, Finance Year-two student Leung Yat and Chinese Year-two student Wong Lai-yung, won the Eminence Award and Best Presentation Award in the “i-Relay” Youth Integrity Project organised by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). They were selected as one of the 11 finalists among 147 teams of tertiary students from Hong Kong, mainland China and overseas.

The team was excited to be admitted to the final round of the competition. In order to develop a marketing plan on promoting youth integrity, they decided to set up a mobile app to raise teenagers’ awareness of the importance of integrity. Leung Yat was responsible for the design of the project and PowerPoint presentation. He believed that a clear division of labour was their key to success. Lai-yung found that teenagers were easily lured by the temptations of money and plagiarism nowadays. She and Ying-kei would like to take this opportunity to remind teenagers of the value of integrity and make Hong Kong an exemplar city of integrity.
