Mr Nicky Tse, a graduate of Contemporary English Studies (The Class of 2002) shared his fruitful university life and his pursuit in the legal field at the “Tuesdays with Mentors” dinner talk on 15 September.

During his study at Lingnan, Mr Tse joined a number of student societies and school teams, including Lingnan University Students’ Union, Taekwondo Team, Chinese Debate Team and Swimming Team. He found that these experiences helped him develop into an all-round person.

Having selected “Hong Kong Basic Law” as the topic of his final year project, Mr Tse discovered his interest in law under the guidance of his supervisor. After graduating from Lingnan, he obtained a Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the City University of Hong Kong and a Master of Laws in International Economic Law at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He deeply appreciates the close faculty-student relationship at Lingnan which facilitates the free exchange of ideas and encourages students to explore their potentials.
