Witnessed by more than 200 guests, 41 Lingnan students were sworn in to be the 15th Project X volunteers on 30 March. They will serve the community by helping youngsters in need in the forthcoming year.

The Commissioning Ceremony was officiated by Mr Chow Kam-cheung, MH, Chairman of District Fight Crime Committee (Tuen Mun District); Mr Eddie Cheung, JP, District Officer, Tuen Mun District Office of Home Affairs Department; Mr Lui Hon-kwok, District Commander of Hong Kong Police Force, Tuen Mun; Mr Lui Ting-wai, Senior Education Officer of Tuen Mun, Education Bureau; Ms Leung Kwai-ling, District Social Welfare Officer (Tuen Mun); Ms Chan Sau-wan, Convenor of Project X Co-ordinating Committee; Mr Herdip Singh, Associate Vice President and Comptroller and Prof Lee Hung-kai, Dean of Students of Lingnan University.

After the oath-taking, there was a dance performance by Smiley Kizz, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and a sharing session by Mr Wilson Wong, awardee of the Youth Award Programme 2009.
