About 10 members of the Lingnan Alumni Volunteer Team spent a joyful afternoon on 1 June with kids and families residing in a hostel provided by Ronald McDonald House Charities (the House). Through the Lingnan Alumni Volunteer Team, more alumni can serve the community and give support to welfare and charitable organisations.

A guided tour, including the hostel rooms, playroom, library and pantry, was arranged for the alumni to understand more about how the sick kids and their families live in the House. All of the kids were very excited when they made light clay handicrafts together with the alumni.

The first Ronald McDonald House was opened in 1974 in Philadelphia, the US. The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities is to create, to find and to support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.
