“Lingather Programme 2016: Alumni Career Advising Night”, organised by the Student Services Centre and the Department of Management of Lingnan University, was held on 2 March.  Over 160 students joined the dinner to understand the current development of the job market and employers’ expectations from 39 alumni working in 17 different career fields.

In the welcoming speech, President Leonard K Cheng thanked all the alumni guests for spending the night with students.  He encouraged students to actively seek advice from alumni on career development and better prepare for their future career.

Distinguished alumnus Mr Tim Lau, General Manager of Take My Hand Limited (member of Travel Expert Group), delivered a talk on “Road to Career Success”. He shared with students his successful experience in starting and running his own business as well as tips on preparing himself for future career.
