Department of Visual Studies has organised an Artist-in-Residence Exhibition “Embracing the Threshold” from 27 April to 14 May, featuring art works by visiting linocut artist Nicola Barsaleau alongside those of students from her printmaking studio course. A closing ceremony of the exhibition was held on 14 May.

The “Embracing the Threshold” exhibition showcased Nicola’s series of portrait paintings and linocuts, which emphasise mindfulness and sharing, respect and caring for nature, and the contributions that creativity makes to health and well-being – all the values that Lingnan’s Artist-in-Residence Programme would like to nurture.
