The Centre for Humanities Research of Lingnan University has published a two-volume collection of Hong Kong short stories.

Edited by Ye Si (Prof Leung Ping-kwan), Yip Fai and Cheng Ching-hang, The Anthology of Hong Kong Short Stories 1947-2007 is a full-range collection of excellent short fiction spanning from post-World War II years to the new millennium. With 78 selected works of some 72 authors in two volumes, reflecting distinctive social features of Hong Kong, the anthology provides both literary and historical perspectives on the evolution of Hong Kong society over the past decades.

As part of the research outcomes of the General Research Fund project “Hong Kong Literature and Culture of the 1950s”, The Anthology of Hong Kong Short Stories 1947-2007 was published by the Ming Pao Monthly Press (Hong Kong) and Youth Book Company (Singapore).
