Campus Snapshots

Over 370 graduating students, staff and guests of Lingnan attended the Dinner for Graduating Students 2016 on 19 May to reminisce about graduating students’ memorable campus life over the past few years.  The Lingnan family also took the opportunity to express its best wishes to the graduating students.

In their remarks, Mr Rex Auyeung Pak-kuen, Council Chairman of Lingnan University and President Leonard Cheng encouraged graduating students to fully demonstrate the qualities and attitudes they have acquired through liberal arts education after they embarked on their career, and apply critical thinking and uphold independent thinking when analysing different perspectives.  In his sharing at the dinner, Mr Henry Sam, Chairman of the Lingnan University Alumni Association (Hong Kong) also encouraged graduating students to actively participate in alumni activities and stay in touch with their alma mater.

The evening featured a rich array of programmes.  Alumni choir LUCAS together with Lingnan students’ choir, as well as Lingnan’s band “Plan B” dedicated their best wishes and encouragement to the graduating students through their wonderful performances.
