On 23 November, about 20 alumni volunteers participated in an activity called “Cheerful Outing in Autumn Breeze”. They visited the Tuen Mun Fire Station and Hong Kong Wetland Park with 20 members from Hong Chi District Support Centre (New Territories North District).
The meaningful weekend started with a visit to the Tuen Mun Fire Station. Participants were curious about the different fire engines and fire-fighting equipment on display. After enjoying a relaxing lunch at a restaurant in the Tuen Mun Town Centre, the team moved on to the Wetland Park in Tin Shui Wai. Thanks to the guided tour by Wetland Park staff, both alumni volunteers and Hong Chi members gained a better understanding of wetland animals and plants.
