On 2 December, 34 Lingnan alumni volunteers made roselle jam at the organic farm run by the Produce Green Foundation at Fanling for the residents of the Caritas Lok Wo Hostel. This was the second event of the LU Alumni Volunteer Team.
Despite the chill on the day, the alumni volunteers picked some 2,000 organic roselle buds and converted them into 50 bottles of fresh-made jam. These were delivered to the Hostel in Tsing Yi right after the production, thus warming the hearts of the beneficiaries and all the team members.
