The contesting teams of Lingnan students Coco Chan and Vicky Li became the First Runner-up and Second Runner-up of the Top Team Award respectively in the highly competitive CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Challenge at the end of the Project Day of the EY Academy on 9 January. Vicky’s team also won the Best Teaming Award.

Five Lingnan students were among some 100 cadets selected for the EY Academy. They attended the Project Day to learn about the EY Academy framework and how to prepare for being an EY Cadet.

At the end of the Project Day, 55 Cadets were shortlisted as finalists to be offered internship at Ernst & Young in the summer 2012 or spring 2013. They also participated in the CSR Challenge Final on 9 February, for which they were required to split into teams and develop a business plan on a specific CSR theme. Then they had to do a 10-minute presentation and address questions from the panel of judges and other contestants.
