About 80 Lingnan alumni enjoyed a relaxing “Lamma Seafood Tour” held on 28 April.
On the day, participants set off from Tsim Sha Tsui in the morning. Upon arriving at Lamma Island, participants first went up to the “Lamma Winds”. With the comprehensive introduction by the guide, participants got to know more about wind power, while they could view from the top of the hill the spectacular scenery of Hong Kong. After the guided tour, it came to the highlight of the day – the tempting seafood luncheon with shrimps, crabs, scallops and lobsters, which was climaxed by a lucky draw in the middle.
After the lunch, the group headed to the Lamma Fisher Folks Village. Participants showed a keen interest in the beautiful marine creatures and the culture of the fisherfolks of Hong Kong. Before the event came to an end, participants had great fun from the "hookless fishing" and "net raising" games, and the humourous magic performance of an experienced guide, "Ming Gor" (Brother Ming).
All participating Lingnanians had a joyful and relaxing day on Lamma Island!
