Lingnan welcomes 89 new incoming exchange students for the Spring 2016 semester. Together with the 18 full-year exchange students who joined the University in September 2015, there are totally 107 incoming exchange students currently on campus. They come from 25 countries including Czech Republic, Finland, Kazakhstan, Morocco, the Netherlands, South Korea and the US.

To help new exchange students adapt to the new environment and understand the local culture, a welcome lunch and three cultural excursions to Cheung Chau, Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery & Hong Kong Heritage Museum and Sheung Wan Heritage Trail were organised between 14 and 23 January.

The University is devoted to developing exchange partners worldwide. Agreements for student exchange were signed recently with Manchester Metropolitan University, UK; University of Strathclyde, UK; Vytautus Magnus University, Lithuania and University of Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic. With the four new exchange partners, Lingnan currently has 173 exchange partners in 37 countries.
