The Department of Economics has announced that this year’s MSc in International Banking and Finance Programme (MIBF) Scholarships will go to two year-three students of the Contemporary Economic and Public Policy (CEPP) Stream. Wong Kit-yi will receive a full scholarship and Yu Yam-ying will have his tuition waived for studying the MIBF programme later this year.

The Department offers up to two scholarships each year to outstanding students from the CEPP Stream or Economics Discipline Concentration of the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) programme who have been admitted to the MIBF programme. Each full scholarship includes full tuition waiver, plus a stipend of HK$40,000.

The MIBF programme brings together the study of banking and finance with a fully modern and internationally-oriented curriculum that addresses the latest trends and topical issues. Please visit http://www.ln.edu.hk/econ/mibf for more details.

The Department of Economics also offered the “Best Economics Students Scholarship” of HK$3,000 each to three undergraduate students in 2012/13.
