Dr Ng Hoi-man, Brandon has been appointed as Dean of the Community College and Further Education at Lingnan University, effective 24 June 2013.

As Dean of the Community College and Further Education, Dr Ng will take up the strategic role of coordinating the various programmes offered by the Community College at Lingnan University (CCLU) and Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE); working closely with other departments within the University to enhance quality assurance for all courses; upgrading the teaching and learning environment in CCLU and LIFE; enhancing transparency and communication among staff, with students and with other stakeholders; and collaborating with other institutions and organisations in offering a wide range of quality courses to meet identified needs.

“I am pleased to join Lingnan University and look forward to working closely with the teams there to turn a new page in the development of CCLU and LIFE,” Dr Ng said.

Dr Ng is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in the higher education sector and reputable organisations. He is currently the Associate Director at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, in charge of a number of academic programme divisions, the Marketing and Communications Division and major projects. Prior to this, he held senior management positions in various financial institutions including Standard Chartered Bank, American International Assurance Company Limited and BOCI-Prudential Asset Management Limited, at which he obtained extensive experience in organisational development, people development and management, as well as marketing and communications.
