To pay respect to Prof Leung Ping-kwan (Ye Si), Hong Kong Public Libraries and Faculty of Humanities, The Hong Kong Institute of Education jointly organised a public seminar on "Ye Si and Hong Kong Literature" on 26 January. 

Prof Leung Ping-kwan was Chair Professor of Comparative Literature of the Department of Chinese and Director of the Centre for Humanities Research at Lingnan University.

The seminar was moderated by Dr Mary Wong Shuk-han, Assistant Professor of Department of Chinese, Lingnan University. Other speakers from The Hong Kong Institute of Education included Prof Leonard Chan Kwok-kou, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Chair Professor of Chinese Literature; Prof Eric Yu Kwan-wai, Head and Professor of Department of Literature and Cultural Studies; Dr Au Chung-to, Assistant Professor of Department of Literature and Cultural Studies and Dr Chan Chi-tak, Assistant Professor of Department of Literature and Cultural Studies.
