Awards and people
Two professors will receive Research Excellence Awards of Lingnan University for 2014, while two others Honourable Mentions for their dedication to research excellence.
Selected by respective panels of their faculties consisting exclusively of external senior academics from other local institutions, the awardees are as follows:
Research Excellence Award

- Prof Liang Liping, Department of Computing & Decision Sciences
Honourable Mention
- Prof Leng Mingming, Department of Computing & Decision Sciences
- Prof Yeung Wai-lan, Vicki, Department of Applied Psychology
An award presentation ceremony will be held in the first term of the academic year 2014/15.
