During 2015/16, 1000 students participated in 90 Service-Learning and Research Scheme projects offered by 44 courses in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Social Sciences and the Office of Service-Learning. 88 community partners were involved while 12,637 beneficiaries were reached.

In the new video “We Learn. We Serve. We Change.”, two local Service-Learning projects targeting on elderly and primary students were featured. Apart from applying their academic knowledge to serve the needy, Social Sciences student Leung Tsz-nam and Cultural Studies student Helen Ng also share their insights on interacting with the beneficiaries.

To recapture the dynamic campus life at Lingnan, the University has also produced another video “Vibrant Campus. Diverse Cultures.” which features three University-wide events taken place in 2016, including the Lantern Legend, the Equal Opportunities Awareness Campaign and the Lingnan Arts Festival.
