Programme Description:

An interactive, varied course providing a basis for confident, well-informed practice.

In September 2022, TLC launched its new professional development programme and the next cohort will be launched in September 2025. This programme is designed for Lingnan University staff and is mandatory for postgraduate students who teach or support learning. It provides a firm foundation in education principles and practice in the context and tradition of liberal arts education. It also has a strong focus on equipping participants to design quality learning sessions. 

SLT@LU is internationally accredited by SEDA (Staff and Educational Development Association). 

SLT@LU has three modules through which you will be guided and supported: 

1. Online self-paced learning about Lingnan's outcome-based approach

2. Participatory workshops on key principles and practices in higher education

3. Peer observations followed by production of a session plan with rationale
