Blossoming exchange networks
To build on existing ties and lay the foundations for deeper collaboration, representatives from the Office of Global Education (OGE) participated in various international events in the 2017-18 academic year, including the EAIE 2017 Conference in Seville, Spain, the APAIE 2018 Conference and Exhibition in Singapore and the NAFSA 2018 Annual Conference and Expo in Philadelphia, USA.
A number of visits were paid to both new and existing partners in mainland China, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, Sweden, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA. The visits successfully deepened our relationships with our current partners and established student exchange agreements with new partners. We deeply appreciated the hospitality of our partner institutions. We also welcomed our existing and potential partners to Lingnan and showed them our close-knit campus environment and the liberal arts traditions that we take pride in.

The OGE is devoted to developing an extensive network of international partnerships to facilitate students’ mobility and their engagement with the world beyond Hong Kong. The number of exchange partners recently reached 214 in 45 countries or regions.
