Virtual Open House 2023 for non-local career counsellors and high-school students

The LU Virtual Open House was held on 30 March (English session) and 13 May (Chinese session) 2023. It was designed to inform high-school counsellors, prospective students and parents worldwide about LU and to connect them with current students, faculty, staff and alumni from the comfort of their homes.

The Open House included information sessions delivered by our academic, admissions and professional staff. They explained the distinctive features of our undergraduate programmes across our Faculties of Arts, Business and Social Sciences and the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, as well as the various learning opportunities related to internship, exchanges, service learning and entrepreneurship. Our student representatives and alumni from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India and Malaysia also shared their first-hand experiences of studying at LU. In sum, the Open House allowed participants to gain a comprehensive understanding of a liberal arts education at LU and how it helps students to achieve life-long success.
