Faculty-led student group from the Fontys School of Management, Economics and Law

A faculty-led student group from the Fontys School of Management, Economics and Law, Fontys University of Applied Sciences made use of their International Week to visit Lingnan and experience Hong Kong – Asia’s financial hub. The 11 students joined the Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Start Ups seminar given by Professor Leonard K Cheng, President; Mr So Chun Hin Anthony, Co-founder and CEO of OnGrad; and Mr Steven Lam, Co-founder and CEO of GOGOVAN. They were invited to take part in the workshop Towards Responsible Management Education in the Age of “Learning to Be and Learning to Live Together”: A Case from Kyung Hee University by Professor Stephen Yong-Seung Park, a visiting professor from Kyung Hee University, Korea. To further enrich the students’ exposure to the Hong Kong economy, our local students escorted them on visits to some crucial financial authorities, such as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority Information Centre and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council SME Centre.
